Pros

Great Benefits such as health insurance, life, dental and vision. We get some great benefits and the employee contribution part is very low. Lots of earned PTO time given and earned on a weekly basis not on year to year which is great.

Cons

No formal programs for management advancement, you are stuck where you get started. Not so great compared to the other carriers employee phone program. You pay a lot for your phones and you are stuck with them company policy prevents you from even giving away a phone you buy. Too much training with little impact and often long and boring.

Pros

To start with, the people in my work place are wonderful people. We all share the same goal of making sure our customers are happy with T-Mobile. We love people and interaction with the public is what we love most. T-Mobile also has great benefits, such as medical, dental, eye care, and cell phone service. They also give discounts on phones and accessories and allow us to have a free home phone service. The pay is good and the work place is clean and you know customer like to visit our stores. I find personal satifaction when helping our customers.

Cons

The disconnect is the people they hire and put in place over you. They out of touch. There are so many examples I don't know where to begin. My boss doesn't understand the wireless industry. My boss acts as though we are try to produce. E-mail from my boss are usually negative and her conference calls are all too often bashing all the managers of how poorly we are doing. The T-Mobile values on paper are great. Management does not live the values. They treat their employees like they are numbers. They're actions don't align with their values. My boss doesn't truly listen, instead she will attack your charactor if you disagree with her ideas. Your ideas are only good if they achieve you own personal gain.

Pros

Not bad pay, good benfits

Cons

Horrible, Inexpirenced upper managment. No Rises effective 2009. T-Mobile in NY has fallen apart in the last year. T-mobile has grown dramitaclly and has hired on a ton of inexpirenced market managers who have no idea what they are doing. This company use to be about right fitting the customer, now its about making sure the customers walks out with things they dont need just to hit quota. Due to this we lost our JD Power award in 2008.
