Mixed feelings

Pros

Lots to learn, potential to grow skills portfolio. Company values staff in leadership roles.

Cons

Information Technology workers are not valued. Company uses "Targeted Probation" to rid the company of older employees. TI no longer does the right thing when it comes to reducing its workforce. After nearly 35 years of dedicated service - I was setup to fail and removed from the company via a PIP. No severance package, no goodbye lunch, and my boss was 4 hours late to the exit meeting.
