Pros

Gain resume experience at the cost of your health but overall no pros, run as fast as you can. TI is not the same as 10-20 years ago, the great engineers who’ve built TI, have already left this place.

Cons

1. Unreasonable working conditions, 80+ hours for minimum pay, this is slavery. 2. If you speak up, management will shut you down and retaliate 3. Upper and mid level managers are highly incompetent, non-technical, not even qualified to lead the business 4. They will push you until the breaking point with no bonus, no extra pay and spit you out once they’re done with you and replace you with a new college graduate until they burn them out as well. 5. Meetings on New Year’s Day and holidays, my manager called me for meetings and when I pushed back, they cut my bonus and retaliated. 6. Highly political place 7. Managers only care about their own career and bonus, they cut corners and costs. They try to run a workload of 10 people and with a team of 3 with unreasonable deadlines. 8. People come and leave with anxiety pills and frequent doctor visits 9. Mandatory 5 days a week in person show ups, HR is monitoring daily badge ins.

Pros

only pro is that it is TI.

Cons

Toxic work environment –Toxic upper management leaders practices sometimes create unnecessary competition and tension among colleagues instead of fostering collaboration. Outdated management style – Leadership tends to micromanage heavily, with a work culture stuck in the 90s. Remote work(which is rare) comes with hourly reporting requirements, which signals a lack of trust. Poor employee benefits – The site is small with no real perks, you get only break area with two tables apart from your desk, where your manager and will be track you how long you are glued on your seat!

Pros

Great networking opportunity for new grads as TI has a puppy mill reputation Grass roots company (also a con) Up to 20% profit sharing Team can be great, but it is entirely up to who you get as a manager and I have only had one good manager. Sometimes you have the option to move internally to different roles

Cons

TI does not have a lot to offer with lower than average pay for the area, and very high turnover due to overworked, understaffed teams. Both management and so-called leadership are incompetent and exist only to boost their ego of being at the same company for over a decade. Even leadership likes to jump ship (to lead yet another TI group who mysteriously also had an opening) after wrecking existing roles and responsibilities. Poor planning and failed executions led to the blame game which is why employees suddenly got walked out the door during an unannounced layoff, Fall 2024. Bonus points: the CFO is not shy and will shoulder check you to get out of a crowd rather than a simple "excuse me."The same individual announced 5 days in office due to "poor financial performance," when in reality, demand went down because we are no longer in a chip shortage.

Pros

Starting as a new college Grad at TI is very difficult but after time and with right management expectation role becomes easier WFH and very few meetings outside normal work hours

Cons

Pay increase is manager dependent and there is no consistent stance on when a employee should receive significant increase in salary and job grade (Very manager opinion dependent)
