Texas Instruments reviews about "pay"

Lack of leadership direction at the top, causing the company to make money driven short sided decisions.

TI has no idea what the words "innovate" or "collaborate" mean. Sadly the company is just to "cheap" that it costs them a fortune. In the semiconductor markets today, there is way more cost savings in being innovative (using newer technologies, chemicals, methods, equipment etc), and TI spends all its time acting like the company in Michael J Fox's movie, Secret to My Success. Cutting resources and people to run cheaper and cheaper. But like Lightning McQueen, its a short term gain long term loss and they just keep blowing tires. However thats not the worst part. The worst part is the treat people like any other resources that is expendable. The moral in this job is pretty low. So do they pay decent, sure, but money doesnt make up for a miserable work place.

Sometimes left to do nothing. Lot of empty time.

Poor managerial acumen (specific to some teams, early-career managers), bad RSU vesting, average pay

Management didnt believe on their worker, too micromanage people until worker lose their interest Too pushing for result but never appreciate worker when they achieve that result. At last, worker will get more task/job after this because management know this guys able to do this messy job.

Quarterly layoffs, unobtainable metrics, low morale.
