Pros

Nothing much.. I would say..

Cons

Too much Politics Very bad experience in terms of hike. This is not a company who consider your hard work and all works on bluffing.. Hell.. and don't ever join this company. Also almost all good projects are gone and they are firing employees like anything... o Job security at all...

Pros

If you are un-ambitious Malayalee, Trivandrum is a great location. Laid back, work when you can, flexible, 'no fire' policies. Esp. good for family oriented career women, from Trivandrum.

Cons

Conflicting priorities, revenue focused, not very employee friendly in locations other than Trivandrum. Weird processes and policies. Unclear business strategy, no transparency in several critical areas e.g. variable pay, financials. Very dependent on relationships, all processes will require approvals in the respective tools, followed by email approvals and need several follow up calls and emails to get even simple things accomplished. Cramped and frequently unergonomic working conditions, offices are over crowded, basic infrastructure - desktops etc., are minimal. Restrictive, narrow minded policies - no relationship to the core values of the company - Humanity, Integrity and Humility. Excellence is not even part of the credo here. If you are a software engineer, steer clear - there is very little real engineering here. Peer learning is completely absent. Great for mediocre developers and testers. Management depth is not adequate for a company of this size. Very little thought leadership. Focused on delivery, not product quality, or real innovation. About 40% of the company can be fired esp. from several overlapping support functions, with zero impact to functioning. Old timers laze and do rubber stamping for weird processes, do nonsensical stuff that does not add value to the employee, the management or the customer.

Pros

Had an opportunity to interact with some good people, mainly amongst middle management and developers.

Cons

The senior and uppermost management needs major revamping. I have found people at very senior levels to judge the competency of a person, on the most ridiculous grounds. The HR is either insensitive to an employees genuine feedback or under the control of an highly inept 'senior management' - I have a lot more to say as cons - but I don't want to write it all here and bore people to death.
