Nice interactive environment and chance to work with customers all the time which helps to build up your confidence.

Cons

"MONEY". Walmart doesn't pay as per your expectations. (quite lower than of other employers for the same kind of job)

Pros

1 hour lunch with two 15 minute breaks. Stable hours every week. Always something to do work wise. Associates are helpful when you are new,

Cons

Some of the management were very rude in my area and seemed to look down on workers. Also gave more work to certain associates. Low pay for a lot of work.

Pros

There was always room to move up in the company and there are many areas to work in. Sexual harassment or any harassment is definitely taken seriously. I have seen many managers fired for that. They offer a 401K.

Cons

Even though there are many cbls to take in Wal-Mart they can't teach common sense. Most management have no clue how to talk to employees or do their own job. They use coaching in the form of writing people up and then they are fired. So there is no actual learning curve. Nothing is explained to anyone and some departments have no manuals or guides of how they are supposed to operate or run therefore it becomes the blind leading up the blind.
