Pros

It's great to know you're with one of the greatest and most respected companies in the world. They have great salary potentials, wonderful benefits, amazing opportunity for advancement, and a very knowledgeable and wise leadership. In an industry that's really taking a beating right now, Wells Fargo is still standing strong. Many banks and financial institutions are laying off masses of employees, while Wells Fargo is still hiring aggressively. It's also encouraging to see those who are leading the company now and learn that many of them began in the same position--credit manager. It shows that if you're willing to put in hard work and be loyal, you will be rewarded!

Cons

You may possess all the qualities to make yourself an amazing manager, but if your personal sales numbers don't match up then you'll never get a shot.

Pros

Wells Fargo offers tuition reimbursement and is a great place work while attending school. Unfortunately it seems as though the experience gained has little relevence outside of the financial services arena.

Cons

It is a very competitive sales environment in which senior management gives a tremendous amount of pressure. Economic conditions set aside, you are still required to hit all sales goals.

Pros

I would say that overall, my experience was positive. It is a huge company and with that comes lots of internal opportunities. The people I worked with were all very professional and smart. They treated people with respect and you received positive feedback for a job well done.

Cons

Because Wells Fargo is so large, it is very easy to get lost within the structure. There are a lot of company politics and favoritism. People seemed to get promoted based on who they knew and if the right people liked them. Morale was very low and many people left during my tenure. There also was a lack of a career path.
