Pros

Great peers, nice perks, good money

Cons

- Working hours are excessive most of the times (there´s always a release). - Inexperienced developers in really short term projects create tension. - No empowerment for eng. managers - Upper management ussualy lacks context. - Carreer paths are a blur - Office politics are getting the best of really good people. - Culture is shifting to the "Money first" mind set - Performance evaluations seem arbitrary (lacking clear metrics).

Pros

- Work with smart people (but inexperienced) - Pay above the market (but still Mexico's wages) - Lots of benefits and perks.

Cons

- Lots of young people trying to prove themselves pulling lots of extra hours without them being paid. And encouraged by managers. - Growth is not as big as advertised. They get you telling there will be 6 months reviews where you can expect salary raises. Most of the time if lucky they will be barely enough to cover inflation. - Work-like balance is practically inexistent and nobody bats an eye. - Constant internal topics include, teams burning out, unrealistic deadlines, talent leaving, people working weekends to be able to meet dealines, micro-management by project managers. - Lot of people is burning out, deadlines are unrealistic, projects are behind schedule and engineers are constantly adding technical debt to be able to meet the deadlines.

Pros

Wizeliners are very passionate and collaborative, you will always find support for anything

Cons

Since GDPQ invested heavily seems like there is no direction, the E-staff just takes one cringe-worthy decision after another. The CEO is just a spokesperson for the real owners (the board/investors). The promotion process is a rigmarole, and they slashed all the middle management while allocating their workload to regular engineers... in the meantime killing the associate manager quarterly bonus. Layoffs happen very often but very low-key, they always present great revenue numbers and an enlarging customer pool but all of the layoffs, restrictive promotion process, and the lack of middle management tells the real truth in here.
