Pros

The people you work with are genuine good and honest people as long as they are not people in positions of authority.

Cons

When you are being told something by a manager or a person is a "leadership" role you need to know that what is being said is completely dishonest. It's like watching a magic show don't pay attention to what the magician is doing look for what they are doing with the other hand. If you are being told that you will make more with the new comp plan you will in fact make less. If you are being told that more activity will lead to more results, it will in fact lead to more wasted time. Our pricing model is completely outrageous and makes if very tough to compete. However it will not stop MOS from getting the deal and paying you with maybe enough to buy a happy meal at McDonald's. If you want to see who is making the money it's those sitting in the offices that surround the people doing the real work. It was extremely frustrating as a sales rep to know that I would work my fingers to the bone to get an appointment, do an assessment, and make a recommendation (just like I was trained to do) and get a deal only to be told that the rates were too low (even though they were approved) and because of that I would only receive 50% of my commission. The one saving grace is people are now leaving this company in mass. The turnover is through the roof. I will warn you that if you are an applicant be very careful. They put on a pretty good dog and pony show to make it feel like they are looking for the best of the best, but the reality is they need you more than you need them. In today's market there are far too many options for you to settle on a place like MOS. There is "new leadership" at MOS but just ask anyone there who is really in charge. Its the same old boys network selling the same garbage year after year.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. MOS has great people who demonstrate honesty and integrity every day. We would like to address your concerns for our future readers. The pay structure at MOS offers excellent compensation and incentives for those who achieve. We strive to reward individuals who understand the product and the “Why MOS” rather than the “what”. We want to make sure everyone understands how to be successful and deliver the highest value to our clients. All compensation and commission structures are reviewed regularly to ensure each package is appropriate for the position. We would like to also address the comment regarding “leaving this company in mass”. We decided to do some fact checking. Turnover is better than benchmark and is steadily improving. We believe we have a healthy level of turnover that keeps the company vibrant and growing. We attribute this to several factors. First and foremost, we focus on developing all our people from individual contributors through management. We do this through several programs that are offered to MOS employees to learn and develop their business and professional skills. These programs include the MOS Leadership Development Program, 5 Week Sales Training Program, Personal Development Programs and ongoing mentoring and team trainings. We truly believe that we are all in this together. Secondly, we do not believe in standing still. Continuous learning and improvement is the cornerstone of who we are. This is one of the many reasons we take these reviews seriously and will continue to analyze and critic our programs that are in place to make sure that we are providing fair opportunities to all our employees. Thank you for your candid review. We appreciate your honesty and feedback. We are excited about the future and where this next year will lead us! There are incredible opportunities at MOS, we are looking for the best and the brightest. For those candidates reviewing Glassdoor to learn more about working with MOS, we invite you to contact us directly to discuss this. Pros

Very hard to think of any. It really is a joke.

Cons

It all starts from the top. From arrogant president of the company to some of the weasels in the warehouse. You have to laugh at all the people that are scared to death of management. As usual, people in Management that will say they want to hear your ideas but of course will not listen. Human resources is no different, I will not mention names. To many meetings that produce nothing, to much money that is spent on lunches, yet pay their employees terrible wages. And yes Mr. President, I know you are reading this, because you need acceptance, not from me. They think they are running a top secret technology company, for God's sake, its only copiers. They make the business process way more complicated than what it should be. All in all, don't waste your time. At first they will try and suck you in promising this and that, but give it time.

Pros

Resume builder... Can't think of much. They will suck every bit of optimism out of you.

Cons

As soon as I walked in the door the president of the company started trying to sell me... And he's a GREAT salesman. I knew that selling Xerox copiers wasn't something I wanted to do going into the interview but I liked him so much that I decided to put my faith in him and accepted the job and started a week after graduating college. First of all, they will tell you that you can make $100k right out of the gate. In my time there I didn't see a single commercial sales representative even come close to that number! They'll tell you that people in the office make up to $500k but that's a few people and they are the major account holders. All of the big businesses are taken by their mid majors and major account representatives. The biggest problem with AOT though is that they're a middle man. Xerox direct (who they tell you can't touch your prospects LIE) can out price AOT on every product. It also doesn't help that every other vendor is not just cheaper but they are nationwide which takes away any prospects who are in multiple states. They sell a B.S. Speech about their "AOT 360" which is really just FM audit and isn't proprietary at all. It wasn't just the sales process that chased me off though. It was the blatant disrespect for people. Even the top managers took place in publicly insulting employees. One of the mid major reps (who has dedicated more years to AOT than anyone because of their excessive turnover) got it the worse. As a women I was constantly sexually harassed and felt uncomfortable on a daily basis. Beware of positive reviews... The HR department is hell bent on making AOT "best place to work in Phoenix" and tells all employees to leave positive reviews on glass door and positive feedback on surveys to help sell this sorry excuse for a company.
