Interview
I was interviewed by two studios by two principals and needed to specify which one I was interested in. The interview was about two hours and involved an office tour in which the principal showed me all the the work that was going on. The principal was very friendly and interesting, and was the reason I chose to work at Gensler. He engaged me on several levels and was transparent about the fact that client-oriented firm. He also described how young designers to work in multiple stages of design. His description of the studio and my role turned out to be very accurate- I was not mislead or given false promises as I have been in past interviews at other firms.
