I applied online. I interviewed at Paychex (Rochester, NY) in Feb 2016
Interview
Very standard. The first interview was om the phone asking a few behavioral questions. Then the in-person questions were more directed about the program. They tend to have positions opened frequently so it doesn't hurt to be proactive but id start looking a month before graduation.

Question 1
How did you hear about Paychex? How did you hear about the program? Do you know what this position entails?

Interview
Highly awkward interview process. Applied for a positon in December, received a call in February from a recruiter. Fairly standard phone screen mid-February, received a face to face the following week. Additional phone screens from management the 3rd and 4th week respectively, ending with a very pleasant meeting with potential counterpart. Recruiter called to request references. Followed by a phone call from manager asking for references. I sent a follow-up email to the manager, which was responded to by a request for my most recent supervisors contact information. Haven't heard anything since. Extreme waste of time; with all the contact and meetings, I at least deserve a "thanks but no thanks" generic email.

Standard team management questions, situational questions, goals and accomplishments questrions
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Paychex (Petaluma, CA) in Apr 2016
Interview
The recruiter set up the interview with 2 different managers in CORE and the 401K division. I had requested to interview individually to promote my skill set for each different position. Unfortunately, the recruiter refused to set up 2 separate interviews. When I interviewed with both managers, it was extremely difficult to put my best foot forward in emphasizing my skills and experience as one role was completely different from the other. I really feel as if the interview process and the recruiters to conduct the interview in this manner was not really enabling a candidate to be successful. As it turns out one manager did not even have an open position. Not a positive experience.
