I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Sídney) in Feb 2018
Interview
I was referred by my friend to apply for the role. When I was finally ready to submit my application, the job posting had disappeared. However, I sent an e-mail to the recruiter in charge and was contacted the next day. I was then invited to a group assessment where we had to do a case study and draft a prospecting e-mail. We were also given the opportunity to ask the hiring managers about their experience at Salesforce.
The second stage of the process is where you'll have a 1-hour interview with the hiring managers e.g. SDR Manager and BDA Team Manager. The interview can be quite intense - good mixture between technical and behavioural questions. Preparation for this stage is extremely important as it shows that you're interested and that you're able to carry yourself well.
Final stage is a peer interview with existing and former BDAs. It is a 30-minute interview for you to hear from them about their experience and also for them to understand you better.
The offer came the very next day! It was overall an efficient process.
However, I had to wait for about 1 month for the contract to come through as they were experiencing difficulties with the transitioning of their internal systems. Nonetheless, the recruiter in charge, Cassie was extremely helpful and responsive throughout this period. Kudos to her and the rest of the team!
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Have you ever had to give your supervisor feedback? If so, how did you do it?
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Salesforce (Bengaluru) in Jan 2018
Interview
Interview was tough and there were around 45 candidates. We had around 5 rounds of interviews and the hospitality provided by Salesforce was the best. It was a great experience and looking forward to join the company.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Dublín, Dublín) in Jan 2018
Interview
I have never experienced such an organised and efficient interview process as with Salesforce. The recruiter who was managing the all process was Pippa Haggart, which was very helpful and instant available throughout the process. The interview process took around 3 weeks and consisted of screening call with Pippa, followed by 2 different video interviews with different sales managers, the second video interview included 20 minutes presentation about the company solutions. After each stage I received feedback and tips to have a better understanding about my performance.
