Interview
In order to qualify for a face-to-face interview, you had to pass an online call-center exercise. It's very similar to other call centers if you've ever worked in one. About 48 hours after I completed the online application, I was invited to a job fair. At the job fair, I met first with a supervisor, and then had a 2nd interview with the head of the site. I don't believe this to be the norm; if I remember correctly, he was interviewing to help out due to high turnout. I was then invited to sit in with working representatives to give me a feel of day-to-day responsibilities. I was offered a job on-site during the job fair, pending a background check and a drug screen.

Interview
Hiring process is intense. You need a good internet connection and speakers to take the online exam. You'll get a phone interview and then if you pass that, a face to face interview. If you pass all the above, you'll be hired. DOE about 10.25 an hour is starting base pay.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Wichita, KS) in Sep 2012
Interview
Filled out an application online followed by an assessment, took about 30 minutes. I received a phone call for a business-casual interview three days later. Interviewer uses the S.T.A.R. system. After these questions, the interviewer sat me with a rep to listen to calls for about 20 minutes (Nesting). I was told t-mobile will make a decision in five days, but received a email 2 hours later asking me to complete back round check. They use Hireright, which can be extremely annoying. It should be completed no more than ten days, just make sure you fill out the back round check completely and check on it after seven days. Check your email because a lot of the times they want more information before proceeding. After this was complete, I was offered the job, told about the meet - n - greet and when my class will start.

Question 1
S.T.A.R. system, google it. Tell me about a time when you had to de-escalate a customer? Tell me about a time when a customer was being difficult with a sale? How did you gain their trust? Around those lines.
