I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon in Mar 2014
Interview
After applying online, I took the behavioral test and waited. About two weeks later, They set up a phone interview with me. I passed the phone interview (basic questions, roleplaying, and STAR), and moved on to a face-to-face with the store manager. The interview was about a half an hour (more STAR here). She said they had a new form of interviewing, and it was primarily roleplaying. I returned two days later for the third interview, which involved memorizing the store, and selling (roleplaying) the store manager a phone and as many accessories as you could. Then the regional manager came and asked me more basic questions, and they told me they would call me later that week, which they never did.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Verizon (Springfield, MO)
Interview
I was hired when it was Alltel which was a very simple interview process. An initial interview with the Retail Store Manager and assistant, and then a second interview with the Store manager and the district manager. However, the process now is applying online. If one is approved through that process, the next step is a phone interview with a recruiter, after which, if you are approved, then your information is sent to a retail store manager with an opening. They then review the applicants and select which will have an on site interview. Then it is the same 2 interview process.
