I applied online. I interviewed at Verizon (Charlotte, NC) in Mar 2014
Interview
I was initially contacted by an HR rep about an open house after applying on Career Builder. I went to the open house where they scheduled me for a phone interview with an HR rep. The first interview was about an hour long. Pretty easy I thought. She made it conversational which was nice I was then passed on for a second phone interview. The questions were slightly more difficult. The questioning part of the interview took about 20 minutes. All together about 35 minutes after asking question that I had. From there I went to the third and final interview which was an in person interview with a store manager. I was asked questions that was job related to what I was applying for, but what kind of experience I had with that in the past. Things such as inventory, long hours, ect. Now at this current time I am waiting on a response from my final interview.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (Little Rock, AR) in Jul 2013
Interview
After applying you will get a phone call to go into the store for an interview. If you did well expect two phone interviews to follow. In my experience, the phone interviews were the most difficult. They will criticize you and and put you under stress to make sure you can handle unruly customers. Do not take it personally, everyone in my training class (15 people) said the same. If you are chosen they will then have you perform drug testing and perform the background check. After everything is cleared they will extend the offer and send you to training.
