Pros

A good number of inspiring colleagues who are experts in their field, good package relative to other NGOs

Cons

Office politics at senior and middle management levels, discrimination in hiring by some senior managers, no clear development path for good members of staff who have a lot of potential unless they are "backed" by one of the managers

Pros

If you can upsell to random New Yorkers on the street in all weather, you will do well.It is for a noble cause.

Cons

Quick turnaround. Training too short. If you cannot sell quickly, you will be gone. There is no breathing room. Too focused on dollar amounts.
