Pros

You get to help others who have been put in unjust situations. It allows us to actually make a change in the real world even though most of us mentally believe there is nothing we can do. We can help make the world a more just world and fight against corruption.

Cons

There are not many problems with Amnesty, some disorganisation and weak management, however this is mostly due to the fact that there are so many branches to handle.
