Pros

Great Benefits Flexible work schedule Don't have to work overtime Good values on Volunteering and building the community Interesting products

Cons

Scrum Management. Management only willing to criticize, rather than get their hands dirty and be part of the solution . Hard to get promotions/raises. Toxic work environment (poor behavior is not punish, good behavior is not rewarded). Pay is sub-par. Little to No compensation bonus for good review ratings. Lots of Corporate BS (any large company has this). Doesn't inspire innovation (Scrum has hurt this). Lots of jobs (including white collar) going to Mexico. Competition is catching up and policies make it harder to get ahead. If you are a tinkering (true) engineer who likes to solve problems and design cool products, Bendix is not for you. Most of the design work is done by designers out of the country. If engineering is a stepping stone to go into management and play the "game", Bendix is for you.

Pros

Lots of room for growth if you move around departments.

Cons

Pay and benifits mid-tier. Some concerns about future position in the market place, as projects seem to be behind competition.

Pros

Good pay and benefits along with health facility on campus.

Cons

I was thrown in to a major project installing conduit and wiring within the first couple of weeks. I was told I had to work nearly every weekend, and when I told them I couldn't. I was told it was my turn in the rotation. 2 weekends off in 6 months. I talked numerous times with the manager to be told he didn't know when the overtime would slow down. I was told they were starting third shift back up, then told I needed to be ready within a couple of days. I contacted HR and was told I would work when I was told to work. Employees in training are allowed to not be on an ot schedule, the list of techs who were qualified is short. They will tell you 2 weekends a month for ot, yet mandated every weekend. Overall, beware of living at the job.
