Pros

Good Location, London Bridge - Close to the center of Central London, great office view looking towards Thames.

Cons

1. The company faces a challenge with a weak sales pipeline, resulting in limited project exposure, this is the case all through the year 2. You will risk losing your jobs if your utilization rate falls below 60%, as the company cannot afford to keep you on the bench for extended periods. 3. Management lacks a clear vision for company growth, often adopting a passive "go with the flow" approach. Despite grand statements made during town hall meetings, there's little follow-through. 4. Do not take those statements at face value during town hall meetings, as the actual situation may be bleaker. Redundancy-related reviews in recent years highlight this disparity. 5. Collaboration across groups is lacking, particularly in the UK where teams operate in silos due to limited projects in a competitive market. 6. Job security, benefits, and opportunities for growth are scarce, leaving you with few options for exploring new roles or advancement.

Pros

Location. Lots of coffee shops and food options. Still not worth a commute of a few hours Nice colleagues but you hope thats anywhere

Cons

Just announced we have to be in the office regardless of where you live even though I joined based on flexibility. Now my commute three days a week will be hours per day as I am not based in London and when i come in the coffee machine doesnt even work! New sales director is rude and condescending and treats everyone like they are dumb even though they just joined ?? I am not even in sales so why is he speaking to me?! ! Only been here a month but he is already not popular. Big mistake. Leadership has no clue. Utilisation target is everything and we are constantly threatened with redundancies and they have already made lots of redundancies this year (look at other reviews). Somehow being in the office will increase utilisation ??? Economy is horrible and there is no jobs anywhere and they think a weekly threat will motivate us Barely any women and barely any ethnic people after redundancies No social events Stay away honestly there is no reason to join Devoteam as it is now

Pros

- Flexible work from home option

Cons

- No long term vision and no projects, most of the people used to be on bench, especially MuleSoft practice in London - Racial discrimination while making the employees redundant - Untrustworthy/unethical people from recruiting and management

Devoteam Response

We completely understand the impact losing a job can have and are very sorry for any difficulties it has caused. We can assure you that the decision to make any redundancies at Devoteam is something that no-one wanted and every effort was made to avoid it. A thorough process was followed and all decisions were made based on pipeline and market volatility and certainly without any racial discrimination. If you think that was a genuine factor then please do contact us about it through appropriate channels as we will be happy to discuss.
