Pros

I loved the hotel and the location, loved working with my corporate accounts, beautiful office and location dtsb.

Cons

Management is the biggest issue and everyone that works there know this and until certain people higher up are replaced things will not change there, micro managing and ruling with an iron fist, no respect for employees.

Pros

The associates not only truly care but their length of employment shows how much they love where they work. Line level associates with tenure of over 20 years proves their commitment and passion for their job and where they work.

Cons

Finding staff is always a struggle and therefor many departments are understaffed for the business levels at the hotel

Cons

I'm honestly not sure where to begin with this, When i first started i believed in Hilton a lot due to their great success, however this changed altogether. The management here is atrocious. They are not here to help, but hurt. Most of the time they are very rude to customers and set a terrible example for other employees and their hotel. They often pretend to be working on something to avoid customer interaction and leave the entire load of customers on whoever else is there. when you ask for help they act bothered then ensure to make you look and feel incompetent in front of the guest. Each manager has a different set of information so when you are new you get trained 5 different ways and quickly figure out no one gets along, so you get yelled at for doing things the way you were trained. You can ask all day what you can do to help or to go above and beyond and they will skirt around and ignore you then yell at you for not doing anything. You are set up for failure since the beginning. As much as they like to tell you there are opportunities, there arent. I've seen people here for years who arent offered promotions when they work SO hard for this company, while lazy people get the pat on the back. My main complaint however, is the quality of this hotel. It is disgusting. On a daily basis guests complain about MOLD, extremely poor plumbing to the point they stand in dirty water while showering, doors that don't even lock fully, the rooms are never stocked, people find socks dirty underwear, and completely unvacuumed carpets, elevators break daily. Guests are paying 3 to 500 dollars per night and this is completely unacceptable. I simply cannot stand behind a company that treats it's guests and employees this way. there is much more, but this is the grand scheme.
