Pros

I honestly don't know at this point. If there are any pros, I haven't experienced them yet.

Cons

There are many things not communicated to you as a new employee of Teletech, prior to beginning the job. I found out almost everything, that would have steered me away from ever applying with this company, from co-workers within the first few weeks of work. I even asked for information from the recruiter, prior to starting the job, to which she responded by saying I would receive that info the first day (which I did not). One of the most important things they did not tell me? THEY NEVER GIVE RAISES! Not even an increase to match inflation. Again, if I would have known this, I would not have settled for the pay I was offered and negotiated for. Benefits are awful, luckily, I don't have to us the medical insurance through Teletech. Vacation time is a joke, especially if you are considered an "associate" employee, which I am, again, something I was not aware of when hired. The client whose HQ we work at, seems to look at Teletech employees as outcasts, it's disgustingly apparent. The client shuts down over Christmas and pays their employees for this time, but Teletech will not pay us so we either have to use up PTO or not get paid at all, except for the day of Christmas and New Year. The expectations they have for us, are so much higher than the client's full time employees we work along side of, and yet we are paid less, have no time off, and terrible benefits. It's funny, we are good enough to hire and work for the client as a contractor, but we are never good enough to become one of their full time employees. Also, Teletech management may be the most unprofessional and unqualified people I have ever associated with. It's actually embarrassing having the client meet and know who our bosses are, because of the lack of professionalism, education, and sorry to say it, but just overall hygiene. I have been actively looking for a job elsewhere since I they first week of working as a Teletech employee.
