Pros

Could work from home which is recommended to isolate yourself from a poor and uncollaborative work environment

Cons

It was sad what the company became after acquisitions. Many talented people were either fired or quit because of so many reasons. Here's the short list: Senior Leadership, Lack of achievable goals, unstable leadership, very low focus on employee moral and motivation, poor 401k plan, no investment in any professional development or training programs, little to no community volunteer support, deteriorating work product/quality from shift to India development and fulfillment for less cost, growing number of unhappy customers, demoralized work environment and multiple reductions in workforce

Pros

In general all of the pros are now gone. This used to be a good company but employees and clients will now tell you otherwise

Cons

Executive team is all new and ever changing. No leadership. Disrespectful and un appreciative of clients and employees. There is no vision, no direction, no bench strength. Most tenured employees have been replaced off shore and others have been RIFed for less tenured employees with little industry knowledge. Clients migrate and migrate again - from platform to platform - from vision to vision - from leader and goal to leader and NEW IMPROVED goal. Scooping out the guts to cut costs and go forward with an IPO and then it will really all collapse. The only reasons clients are staying is because their integrations are too complex to disengage and switch quickly.

Pros

Great work/life balance, work from home is supported - even encouraged.

Cons

Management communication from top down is poor. Benefits are expensive. 401K match is poor, options for benefits are limited and suboptimal. Most tellingly the company does not seem to care about its own future - being owned by a private equity firm the top management seems more focused on streamlining operations to sell for profit than investing in itself to improve service for clients and technology/innovation for employees. Very difficult to work for, frustrating and unrewarding.
