Pros

Great people, high profile projects

Cons

Selective bias given to up and coming "stars" creating unclear "entrepreneurial" path to growing your career and progressing within the hierarchy

Pros

Some nice people, big global company, some large projects.

Cons

It has gone downhill in the Chicago office since the new upper management took over and surrounded themselves with people excel at kissing up and has no respect for good design. As a result, nepotism is rampant and results in a toxic work culture. People with design talents are ignored and pushed away, with COVID being used as an excuse, whereas the "inner cycle" was able to keep their posts with full compensation.

Fake & Toxic Environment

Pros

Most people praise the benefits, although they aren't the best I've ever had.

Cons

Local management does not have the skills (or interest) to lead. There is a small circle of employees on an upward track; but most are just there to make those few look good. The entire outlook is "making the company look good" - there is very little effort put into making things actually work, making people actually feel successful, etc. The company culture is very fake and toxic.
