      Classical IT sweatshop: 3rd world workers for 1st world clients

      Pros

      Croissants on Fridays (till they cut these too).

      Cons

      Managers get overpaid for wasting infinite hours failing to communicate with both client and developers while developers work inefficiently and get paid peanuts. Developers are the go-to person when project fails; managers are the go-to person when project succeeds. Combine this with an excessively incompetent and indifferent HR dept. Avoid having an opinion of your own, or risk being sacked.

      Pros

      The working environment is very nice, with chill out spaces equipped with play station consoles, ping pong tables, TVs, etc. Music lessons, masseuse at the office, doctor at the office. Get to work in really challenging projects with world known clients. Great professionals who you can learn a lot from and people are always happy and willing to help. Lots of projects involve traveling to client locations.

      Cons

      Pay is not that good and getting promoted is not that usual.

      Pros

      Best thing in Globant is the working mood, you have lots of people willing to do their best and to be collaborative. Another good point: there is a lot of room for career opportunities. Good place to learning technology and to work with challenging customers.

      Cons

      Big company, you have to deep dive into the bureaucracy. Salaries are not the best in the market. Need to use english to grow in your career.
