Pros

Steady paycheck is nice. Good benefits once you become elagible for them. Good feeling to be putting used stuff to good use.

Cons

Keep your mouth shut. If you say negetive stuff it will get back to the wrong people. At my last annual review (4th one) I got a really good review and then got an annual raise of thirty cents an hour. After taxes that might be a whole ten bucks take home a week. Seems the manager got fired before coming to work here for the way his employees got treated and is starting to do the same to some workers here. Do anything management don't like and you pay for it, with split-up days off and the worst schedules.

Pros

It's an honest living, with some decent benefits if you can make it to that point.

Cons

Horrible working conditions, aside from the pet dandur, fleas, rat feces, and very heavy dust, you have unreasonable working conditions. If the person sending the totes is mad at you or does not like you then you will never meet your quota. Not enough proper functioning equipment to get the job done, like pricing guns. God forbid you ask for personal protective equipment, they get mad at you for that. They scream at you in front of all your co-workers and think nothing of it (workplace bullying). The employees that have been here for years treat new people very poorly and no one does anything about that. Overall, not worth the extreme stress for a job that pays only minimum wage. The supervisors are a joke. They are the bullyies and do nothing but intimidate people. It's almost comical how they do it, they have nothing better to do? Someone with higher authority or a company spy should go in and experience what its like. Maybe something would get done. Find a different job!

Pros

decent pay, $1.50 above minimum wage.

Cons

HORRIBLE allergy breakouts. Skin rashes and puffy eyes/runny nose. If you are allergic to pet dander or must this is not the place for you. Very painful repetitive work. A lot of standing. Quotas to reach or you will be written up. Breaks are paid but you cant leave the building. You have to fend for yourself with everything. Get your own clothes. Tote your own clothes to the compactor. And fight with other employees for supplies like hangers and tagging guns which some people stash. Which makes it very hard to reach your quota in a realistic time frame. You have to have your bag checked EVERY TIME you leave the building. If no one responds to the page and comes to the front, you could have up to 10 minutes knocked off your lunch and nothing you can do about it.
