Pros

Nice work space, good people. This company has been around for a long time and there are many long-term employees who have significant history and experience.

Cons

The management team does not seem to truly care about the employees who have spent much of their careers building Inmar's services and supporting their customers, as they will quickly eliminate someone's job (especially when they have been there for many years, therefore likely making more money than someone just hired) just to hit their numbers. Sacrificing people's careers just to ensure you hit a number promised to your investors is a crappy way to treat loyalty. Fake management + manufactured culture + trying to be a technology company when you are not + living in fear that you'll be cut any any time = Inmar.

Pros

If you love Opposite Day...you're golden!

Cons

If you hate Opposite Day...you're in trouble. When they say things are GREAT! Remember, it's Opposite Day! When they tell you that they are a technology company, that the leadership cares, that their HR Department is so great that they renamed it "GREAT TEAMS!", that you will be a part of something wonderful...remember...it's Opposite Day. When you see people that barely work being promoted as the ones that kill themselves with only the company's best interest at heart stay behind, this should make sense to you...because it's Opposite Day. When they promise you commissions, when they give you a job description and promise you growth potential, when they tell you what the company's goals and capabilities are...remember...well, you get it right?

As a senior-level Inmar leader it is important that you share feedback with your peers in the areas you mention to work with them to drive solutions. If you need assistance in having this type of conversation, please reach out to any member of Inmar Great Teams!. To clarify, while members of our Great Teams! department certainly strive to be a great team, the name “Great Teams!” refers to the team’s role in helping Inmar leaders, like you, build and lead…great teams.

NOT a great place to work

Pros

Generous PTO, WFH friendly (since the pandemic). Teams do collaborate well together, most of the time.

Cons

In 2021 Inmar pushed a campaign to receive the “Great Place to Work” certificate. And by pushed I mean they shoved the “anonymous” survey down our throats. I’m not sure if everyone was honest or just too scared to call out the cons, but I’ll share a list here: - too many chiefs, not enough Indians - people are not compensated for their worth nor at market value. - the compensation model is a joke. There’s no clarity and no way to confirm your numbers are right. Quotas are laughable. - the people who work the hardest and strive to make clients are happy are not recognized for what they do - Inmar is a Jack of all trades and a master of none. They continue to acquire other lines of business while not developing current and successful services. - clear and present favoritism, almost like a good ol’ boys club - Every time they announce a big promotion or a change to the leadership team, there is a 99.9% chance that it’s a white male.
