I Hate Going to Work Every Day

Pros

Some of the people are great to work with but they are slowly leaving the company.

Cons

Inmar is not the same company it was since new CEO David Mounts took over. The family atmosphere is long gone. They have moved way too fast into new services without a clue how to deliver. They have made digital promotions such a priority, pushing to sell but don't even have a department or trained, knowledgeable people to handle the clients. Sell it now and worry about how we are going to do it later. People change roles so fast that no one can keep up with who is doing what job. Very unorganized, lack of communication and processes. Some employees have double the workload they had a few years ago, where some have nothing to do. Expectations are very different for some. I honestly don't know why some people show up for work. Inmar could just mail their paycheck to them since they do nothing all day. Some associates are allowed to work from home, while others are not. Many associates work far less than 8 hours a day. They come and go as they please while others are working 10-12 hour days. They fired a lot of the good people that gave many years of dedication to the company and replaced them with young people who have no experience and are just there to climb the ladder. Most of the long time people at the executive level have left or gotten fired. They hired people in other states, working from home who have no clue. They sit at home all day and collect a fat paycheck. Those who have been with the company a long time are the ones doing all of the work. The new employees don't have a clue what they are doing and spend all of their time on committees and taking leadership classes. Inmar received tax incentives in exchange for providing 200 jobs to Winston Salem but they failed to disclose that they fired a lot of people to make room for those "new" jobs. The new corporate office is a joke. Inmar spent over $60 million dollars and most employees hate the new building and location. The new building was not needed. The CEO just wants prestige and to look good in the industry. I know many associates who are actively pursuing other jobs. It is so sad that a once great place to work ,with dedicated employees who loved their job has come to this. I used to love my job but now I hate coming to work.

Finally

Pros

Its not really a pro for Inmar, but for all other employers out there. Inmar did an amazing job of collecting the worst human beings on the planet, putting them in leadership positions creating the worst toxic culture ever witnessed. Why is this a pro? well, it meant these cancerous individuals aren't in the job pool for other companies because they work at this cesspool.

Cons

The board finally woke up and fired the CEO and a few others, good first step, but incredibly over due. It will take years to remove the rest of the stank from this place and they will likely be in CH 11 as their debt load from all the stupid acquisitions over the years is gonna catch up to them as interest rates rise. Stay away.

Yikes

Pros

Some very knowledgeable people who are more than willing to mentor, good vacation and 410k package.

Cons

Where to begin? From just the offensiveness of the CEO bragging about how much money he has, and his toys to underhanded sliminess of management, this company is nothing but garbage. They’re more worried about the bottom line than treating their employees well. Very close-knit groups, and if you’re not in it, life is miserable. Blatant favoritism and HR (oh, excuse me…. “great teams”) is there to protect the company; not you. Don’t ever try to stand up and be somebody - you’ll get knocked right back down; especially if you’re an ambitious female. You’ll be labeled as “aggressive”. Don’t try to negotiate a fair wage - you’ll be called “ungrateful”. Don’t point out anything wrong, because then you “have a bad attitude”. Yes, this is verbatim what I was called over my tenure there.
