Thank you for taking the time to share your experience as an interpreter at LanguageLine Solutions. We’re so glad to hear that you’ve found our training helpful and that working from home has been a good fit for you—these are both important parts of what we strive to provide for new interpreters starting their careers. We also appreciate your feedback about communication and would encourage you to join Chatter to connect, as Interpreter work is often independent by nature. We’re always working on improving our connection points and support resources across the organization. If you have additional suggestions or would like to share more about your experience, we’d love to hear from you directly. Please reach out to us at interpretercommunications@languageline.com.

Good fit for me

Pros

Work from home, maintaining s quiet environment. If there us a stir, normally clients are understanding and can be patient if you need a moment. (This goes both ways, clients don't waste your time and call back when ready if the delay is too great)

Cons

Working 2 days a week only, if calls are abnormally long nearing close of shift you will never get overtime even though you've worked past time (usually happens once a week)
