Pros

work from home decent training (for the low-level calls at least)

Cons

pay being super on your toes about every client interaction who expects you to be a robot and remember paragraphs of information, while the company always takes their side on matters, regardless of what nonsense they complain about

Pros

work from home is allowed

Cons

they will terminate you for issues you do not control and will make it your fault. a client will act in a bad manner and they will hold you responsibl and terminate you. any complaint or issue you face in your work that isnt caused by you will still be considered for your termination matter of fact the company omly responds to reviews that put them in a good light if apply to their company you signal to them that you dont care about yourself so why should they. my advice avoid this company until they start treating their workers like actual human beings.

Pros

You can work from home.

Cons

Home website created by a lunatic. Every time you click on something, the LL website logs you offline, you get an email asking you why you logged off, and your account is blocked. You then have to ask for the account to be reinstated and you might have to wait up to 24 hours. This is simply for clicking on another website. I am not kidding. They are absolutely hell-bent on making your life a miserable living hell. They have zero respect for their employees and are a faceless, mindless conglomeration of sick psychopaths.

Thank you for your feedback. It's unfortunate your experience with the interpreter platform did not meet your expectations. System timeouts and auto-logout processes are intended to ensure security and accuracy, but we recognize they can be disruptive—especially if they interfere with your ability to work. We understand that interpreting is demanding work, and we’re continually working to improve both our tools and our support systems. We appreciate the service you provided during your time with LanguageLine and wish you the best moving forward.
