Pros

-provided paid training that SIGNIFICANTLY improved my skills -pays 15$ an hour which is excellent for my state where the minimum wage is 7$ -were not overly critical of small mistakes -sometimes you would be on hold for 10 minutes at a time -vast majority of clients were very kind and sppreciative -they send you all the nesesary equipment

Cons

-huge corperate machine, for any small issue you have to submit a million requests and call different numbers and talk to many different people and it's just a huge headache. It would be much easier with a direct suprevisor. For example, the headphones they sent me didn't work, I asked to use my personal ones, they said it was against policy, and I spent maybe 4 hours being transfered around their tech support department, and then had to wait a few days for new headphones to arrive. -No breaks in between calls, you can have a pretty emotionally heavy call and immediately be transffered to another, it's pretty draining.

Pros

Worked through Teleperformance, an outsourced provider for LLS. Relative independence, can choose working schedule, job does provide a good amount of challenge and novelty on a day to day.

Cons

Very low pay compared to value of the service being provided (it is outsourced), but standard for the Colombian jobs market.

Pros

You learn a lot and gain a lot of experience because it's a very fast paced environment.

Cons

The pay is too low compared to the work you have to do, because even though it's remote, what you get paid at least if you're a mexican interpreter, is very low in comparison to the level of stress and skills you are required to have to keep this job.
