Pros

Work from home, relaxed shift on sundays.

Cons

Just wanted to warn anyone considering working for Language Line Solutions—this company pays only $170 per week for a full-time, 5-day, 8-hour shift. That’s less than $4.30 per hour for a job that requires constant mental effort, where I have to quickly take notes, interpret in my mind, and deliver accurate and precise translations in real time. I get that it's a remote job, but that doesn’t justify the insultingly low pay. Plus, their benefits aren’t anything special either. For a company that relies entirely on skilled interpreters to function, they sure don’t seem to value us much. If you're in Costa Rica and looking for remote interpreting jobs, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere unless you want to be overworked and underpaid.
