Pros

The job itself is great you can work from the comfort of your home and they have allot of options to pick the schedule that best fits your time frame, the job itselfs is great very challenging and if your are someone who is afraid of pressure and stress this is not the job for you.

Cons

they are very secretive about their pay rate and i have spoken with their Human Resource Department, after i finally was hired and the pay is a desapointment for the type of service one is providing, you would expect that since its a very profitable job this is not true if you are working for language line.

Good and bad

Pros

You get to broaden your vocabulary, and to learn about different topics. Also, are there no direct supervisors, which is cool. The best thing is you only need to be a good interpreter to meet the metrics. I am talking about LL Costa RIca.

Cons

Salary wise...not that good. Besides the entry salary is relatively low (for an interpreter), the company has a no-salary-raise policy. There are growth opportunities but your income, as good as it gets, will remain the same. Also, at least in CR Heredia, the facilities are not in the best conditions, and the call center area itself is warehouse like. There are no windows, for you to see the outside. They have told me it is different in Cartago though. Finally, there are almost no added benefits. They only give you private medical insurance, which is good, but most call centers do. No added values, and not a good cafeteria...
