Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We understand that the management change you experienced caused disruption to your role. It can be difficult to adjust to new dynamics and leadership styles. A lack of respectful candor or negative repercussions for constructive feedback do not align with our Guiding Principles as an organization. At MKS, we have a strong culture of accountability and fairness. We believe in identifying candidates with the best qualifications for a role, and in the importance of having the right person in the right role. We are committed to fostering an environment of respect, accountability, and inclusion and we pride ourselves on encouraging a flexible work schedule to maintain a strong work-life balance; this has executive-level support. It is unfortunate to hear that you don’t believe your experience aligned with these principles. If you have any additional feedback or would like to discuss these matters further, please reach out directly to MKS.Feedback@mksinst.com

Pros

Co-workers are great, very competent

Cons

Management is a disaster. No strategic plan. Four weeks of unplanned shutdowns last year and looking st the same this year. Constant pressure for you to take vacation but work through vacation.

Fully Disappointed

Pros

Generally most people were great to work with.

Cons

Many people echoed poor work/life balance. Seemed like a lot of burn out was occurring. The person in charge of my training when I joined was clearly working too much, can’t imagine they’d want to train someone new with their workload. Poor training for new hires, mainly due to lack of time/resources. Then get told you ask too many questions due to the poor training. MKS has a long way to go to be competitive. Local HR folks seemed more with the times than corporate HR. I learned a lot from having conversations with local people.
