      Pros

      1) Great location and office building 2) Good benefits. Team building events, volunteer activities... 3) Relatively young team. Regular senior management would be like 40-50s. Juniors are like 30s.

      Cons

      1) Exhibits a bureaucratic culture in its staff management approach and lacks demographic diversity. 2) People tend to form close-knit groups. If you don't align with the group's vibe, working there can be less comfortable. 3) The company operates with a fluid labor budget, often resulting in a higher tendency to lay off junior roles compared to other firms. 4) Some senior managers possess dominant personalities (wish you don't work with this type of colleagues. It will be suffocating to work and a lot of pressure), which can be intimidating. This is largely attributed to their extensive work experience and the authority they hold.

      Local warlords in Manila. Cannot recommend!

      Pros

      -A global environment full of intelligent co workers -Flexible working hours -A career at the heart of the financial world -Quick (almost too quick) to adapt to changes

      Cons

      -Keeps incompetent local warlords who prefer to keep issues within Manila resulting in silos and reducing said global environment -Said warlords who know nothing about the work but insist on taking credit from their employees -Said warlords are also more keen on micromanaging their employees rather than empowering them -Said warlords also happen to harbor strong misogynist ideals -MSCI is unable to tame nor act on this hence the high turnover over the years

We are always focused on MSCI’s performance culture with initiatives to improve manager competency. Manager scores in our engagement survey remain very positive (above 85%) especially in the areas of Trust, communication and well-being and your positive comments are a testament to that.       Management is inclusive People are collaborative, driven and collegial Clients genuinely seek out our advice Sustainability has become mission critical throughout firm More focus on D&I as a business imperative (e.g. not a nice to have) IT support is very good

      Innovation initiatives do not always materially effect day-today business Innovation as a culture is lacking despite concerted effort, not enough risk-taking
