Pros

Pay and benefits are nice.

Cons

The management at the facility I work for are terrible. Way to many chiefs and not enough indians. The facility also hemorrhages line workers do in part of the terrible HR management and union. They abuse salary personnel and offer little to no room for growth. Offer no real compensation and do not recognize talent. None of the management actually understand what manage means and usually end up pawning their responsibilities off on lesser individuals who have had no experience then get angry when something goes wrong, yet accepts all praise when someone else does their job and gets it right.

Opportunity to learn but do not treat people with respect.

Pros

- able to work in a "large" scale manufacturing company - great PR / Marketing Department - excessive bonus and pay structure for management - constantly hiring

Cons

-High Employee Turnover. No director level personnel has been their more than two years. Constantly looking for employees thus need a great marketing group - HR is extremely weak. They do not initially offer healthcare the first three months of employment. Must attempt to negotiate but will waive if going for PM role. - The "con" of the pay structure is that the senior level management is constantly looking to place blame to protect their bonus and thus leads to high employee turnover. Divisions fight against each other over "pennies" - The employee culture/management is extremely arrogant and aggressive. - "Claim" they have a corporate charter that includes respect for employees. Yet the worst offenders are Director of PM and Director of Purchasing - The corporate structure has no R&D department thus the business is not advancing long term

Pros

Casual business attire allowed, competitive benefits. Direct corporate hotline for any complaints regarding any violations of company policies.

Cons

They actively go after young employees to pay them peanuts and get rid of them as soon as they have acquired enough vacation and high salary. Unless you know someone who likes you or is related to you high above in corporate, your days are numbered after you hit 40.
