Pros

If you would have asked me before the acquisition by AN Global, I would have said I never considered moving on from AgileThought. All of the previous Best Place To Work awards were hard earned and leadership was transparent and open on the direction of the company.

Cons

All of these short, one sentence reviews are from HR and the LATAM HR team to help increase the overall rankings and drive down the honest reviews. New leadership lacks any vision whatsoever and is solely focused on the bottom line. The company was purchased to achieve an “in” to the US market and nothing else. The culture has suffered greatly because of this and many long term employees are leaving the organization. There seem to be plentiful opportunities in the sales organization and no where else. Any gains from the addition of 10+ sales people has not been seen from those on the client facing side.

Pros

Work from home if client allows (50/50), access to training tools.

Cons

Fake, Fake, Fake people... They'll throw people under the bus without hesitation for the sake of saving their behind. They'll hire a bunch of people for a project (even if they deny it), and will fire everybody if it doesn't work. Bad business practice to build a reputation among employees. This company is just about marketing themselves and brainwashing their current employees. Yes I fell for it and almost ruined my career with them.

Pros

The office view is great. You run into some nice people. Benefits are pretty good for the area. Snacks, sodas, etc. are provided. You occasionally get some social outings with coworkers. Based on appearances, it has the feel of a progressive, modern company.

Cons

The reality is that the work is terrible. There seem to only be a small handful of clients they sell to, and most of the time, it's staff augmentation work. Developers and architects work with a lot of proprietary legacy technology which doesn't provide much in career value, unless you want to specialize in these legacy technologies. Their "core values" are a facade, they only apply if it ultimately gets them more billable hours. Their clients impose their will on the culture. This basically means if you're looking to leave a large corporate job for this company, you'll be thrust right back into a similar (if not worse) situation. Developers and architects are routinely thrown into situations where they are poorly supported and are forced to sink or swim. Often times, technologies are forced onto these folks that they don't specialize in or care to work. Morale is generally bad as a result, and turnover is high. Executive leadership is either blissfully ignorant or cares little about these matters, so long as everyone is billing.
