It used to be pros, not anymore !

I wonder who came with the splendid idea of having that many managers will solve the issues our products have ! instead of hiring 3 guys who will be keen to work a lot and get their hands dirty, you hired some senior managers with a long experience (meaning: very high salaries) and yet none have what it takes to find a clue to our problems : well it doesn't take a management degree to guess the clue: stop talking and start working ! but managers are paid to just talk ... and yet, salary increase has been frozen this year due to managers not meeting their objectives ! they got the highest salaries, there should be a salary cut, and increase with that the salaries of their team members. That's how they will shut the hell off and start working !

Pros

The technology could be cool if Nomad progressed their products. It takes an unreasonable amount of time for any development to occur on any tool or product. Reporting tools don't work and are archaic and their core products have potential but Nomad does not develop within an acceptable time limit. It should not take 12+ months for a new version of code to be developed and tested. Customers are very frustrated with this and Nomad will continue to lose business if they don't fix and improve their products.

Cons

Be very skeptical of any positive reviews especially since most of the employees are completely miserable and overworked. There are serious management issues that are plaguing this company. Management overworks and belittles employees constantly and the Management team produces absolutely nothing except for expense reports to cover their unnecessary jet setting travel. The work environment is horrible but if you don't work in New Castle you can forget that any benefits or improvements will be coming your way. In addition, the company brings in employees from other offices rather than hiring local. The local employees have to deal with alot less pay, less benefits and less vacation time than their co-workers sitting right next to them --- And the employees from the other offices have their living expenses paid for as well. It's incredibly unfair.

No investment in people whatsoever. VERY over managed, too many senior managers and top execs, now so far removed from the company they don't actually know what it does anymore, all these people taking significant salaries and dragging the company down to its knees. The workers are worked until they drop without an ounce of praise, no overtime, no time in lieu, no incentives or bonuses. 10% of the staff doing over 90% of the work - far too many bystanders just watching and not doing. we no longer have solid products - in fact they barely work, skills are outdated, a few people are key to the companies continuing survival yet are criticised rather than helped. Every member of staff is looking to leave, most of the key people already have. This company is now an absolute disaster, a horrible place to work and at times nothing short of joke. Trust the reviews below - they are right, do not join this company - you will be sold on a list of hollow promises and a fictitious long term outlook. Seriously this company has 90% too many Managers and those on the ground are running ragged as there is no budget to recruit 'lower level staff' as an employee I HONESTLY do not know what value most of the senior management bring, they are not visible and are too detached from the workers\products\issues etc; they just sit there round a big conference table with their big salaries wondering where all the money has gone, and it has gone - It would only take a select handful of staff to leave and the company would simply end. We need time to sort our software, we need new products, we need to be a close nit community again, we need to bring things back in house, reward the good and get rid of the dead wood.
