Pros

Can make a lot of money if you're extremely discipline and willing to work long hours. Training is taken very seriously and sets you up for success. Christmas party is in Cancun every year. Team environment, Co workers are some of your best friends. 2 open bars every year. Company takes care of their customers if they ever have an issue after the install for life.

Cons

Long hours, the on call schedule sucks. No reimbursement for miles or gas (you drive A LOT). No protection after the sale, if the install side makes a mistake, the sales rep takes the hit in their commission. Management can be political and clicky. They ask you to write reviews on here. They can't start or end a meeting on time to save their life.

Pros

You can make a lot of money and the people you work with are genuinely good people and willing to help you with a lot. Also working out of headquarters you have access to a lot more resources then the satellite offices. There is some potential for growth *see cons*

Cons

While Power talks about having a good "work/life balance" there is none of that. Hours are rough if you want to have any type of social life outside of hanging out with coworkers. And don't even think about having time for a family. While there is promotion growth, if you want to do it outside of the Scheduling department there are no metrics or postings of available positions, they are hand picked by management, so if you wanted to transfer somewhere you have no idea if it is even an option until you find out someone else is moving into a new role. They continuously emphasize having empathy for the door to door marketing staff and homeowners, but don't do so with you, so you will be verbally abused on the phone by both coworkers and homeowners alike cause you are the one to say "No" to them. Also they use a "team mentality" trick to keep you working even if you need to break. It is rather often there will be a "hold all breaks" or asking you to take half your lunch to "help out the marketers" The job being as mentally draining as it can be at times won't allow you as a Scheduling Agent the ability to decompress after stressful calls you may have with either the home owners or the marketing staff. Also, pretty much everyone in the department has a "X Marketer" story of one of the marketers being verbally abusive to those in the department, it is reported, but because that marketer is good at their job most of the time, nothing is ever done in reprimand of them. Also if you aren't comfortable lying or misleading people every single day for 8 hours, this just isn't the company for you. Lastly, most RVPs and upper management got their positions because they were good at the lower levels, so they actually have no experience of management outside of Power, let alone upper or senior levels, and if you have worked other companies it is pretty obvious.

Pros

Very generous compensation if you bonus, incredible people to work with

Cons

The job itself, you're out knocking doors until past 6 PM most of the time and you're out there for usually about 6 hours . They also require you to work every other Saturday but you don't get any overtime for it. The only way you're making good money here it's if you're getting 4 appointments every day, which means most of the time you're steamrolling people into signing up for something they don't really want to do and end up canceling anyways. You only make $1600 a month working 172 hours if you don't bonus.
