Pros

-benefits -office environment and amenities -parties have a ton of budget -you can skate by doing the bare minimum

Cons

-Maybe well intentioned initially but equality at Salesforce is facade to hide the injustices that frequently take place -The Chief Equality Officer has been with the company for 2.5 years yet the stats are the same, 63.17% white/ 2.79% black is unacceptable -However the more important stat should be how many diverse/ POCs leave the company as the culture is not truly inclusive and opportunity is not equal -Perhaps the stats should drill down further and show the percentage of white leaders at the company -Equality awards are a ploy and PR stunt -Diverse employees are used as marketing tools to hide the true makeup of the company, it degrading

Pros

- Easy performance evaluations; work-life balance in favor of the employee. - Free barista made coffee is pretty decent - Good growth, business acumen of the executives is strong

Cons

- Very little technical innovation (large monolithic Java code bases, decades of technical debt) - The executive has little visibility over business units, leading some (see: Security) to have an absolutely atrocious, toxic culture - Performance evaluation is entirely opaque, no published process for progression, employee success (aka human resources) are extremely opaque - Company values are largely public fanfare, not enacted internally (see above re: HR) - Don't have diverse political opinions if you want to work here (lean hard to the left)

Pros

Good Company and Brand Image Good Salary and benefits

Cons

This is one of the most ridiculous team that you can see. This is one team that acts completely against the company’s core values. Leadership team is new and they want to impress the team in US and so they drive useless initiatives just for the sake of it without thinking about the current problems that the team is facing. Numbers driven mindset who doesn’t want to hear the problems at all. Call for a meeting and only they will talk. No time for them to listen to the problem on the ground. They think they are absolutely right and they can drive things like how they have done that from their past companies. All actions are numbers driven and more consultant company type execution (authoritative) so as to get the results. They need to understand it's not Wipro, Infosys, HCL or even Deloitte. Nobody can speak up freely. If someone talks then they will hold the vengence against them and show that during promotions/salary hikes. Half frontline managers coming from similar experience will go behind the VP/Directors to get their needs fulfilled. Couple of the managers will jump on to other team’s business, pretend as if they are all over the place but in reality trying to show-off. They have hardly 6-7 years overall experience and show-off as if they are 15+ years experienced. Regardless the upper management wants only that type of front line managers who would just nod their heads, sweet talks and tell yes to all they say. The upper management will even promote such inexperienced people who doesn't really deserve or doesn't even fit to be in the team. Bad working attitude and thinks he is the superstar of the whole support team. They will call floor meeting and say promotions is only merit based but have special reservation only for people. All the merit system is all brainwash and every time they change their own words, no honor in that. If you want promotion/hike then you need to run behind them like a dog and loose your self-respect. Hardly there are few managers who have concern for the teams and have the guts to stand up against these immature leaders. For those one or two managers they would have tough time thereafter and eventually they will also change or quit. All talks that they talk about Company culture are only virtual. These managers with service industry mindset driving this like a call centre and don’t care of people or their feelings. If you are just looking for some good money and care less of your self-respect then go ahead and join. Ask for the shift and if its night shift then don’t join. Night shift has the worse management team, politics and groupism at all levels. In short, good company being spoiled by some upper management from these tier2/3 companies who has no understanding of Salesforce business nor has interest to do some good except for themselves.
