Great opportunity to grow and to get proper connections, also huge educational base

Cons

Quite bureaucratic, some changes take a long time to be accepted. A lot of processes correct human factors, but some projects suffer from underqualified managers.

Hi! Thank you for your honest opinion. Sometimes we need bureaucracy to keep us organized but we're trying keep things as smooth as possible. We'd highly appreciate your suggestions on how we can improve our processes to keep bureaucracy at minimum. As you've been with SoftServe for 3+ years (and that's really cool), we think that you could share lots of great insights we can implement. As you said, we provide a lot of educational and professional opportunities for our associates, and managers are not an exception. For example, we regularly have Roadmap to Leadership program that aims to improve managerial skills of our leaders.

Steady work environment, social package, salary in time.

Cons

Boring projects, you don't care about what exactly you are doing. You just care about code quality, not about what this code does.

A potential solution you can use to address this is to use rotation opportunities within the company, such as NEXT program. You can also fulfil your potential by participating in additional volunteering projects that can be found on Open Tech and Open Source.
