Thank you taking the time to provide this feedback - I am obviously disappointed that you feel this way about our management. I appreciate if your role has been terminated it cannot now, or ever ,be a pleasant experience. What I can say is that I don't believe the reason you state would ever be why we would make a change to an employee in SoftwareONE. We have one of the most diverse workforces in our industry (as an example, nearly 50% - 50% Female to Male ratio globally) and are very proud of this fact. We are doing what we can to promote amongst other things gender diversity with intiatives such as "Women in IT" in North America - and we will continue to hire the best people we can. As it happens, 3 of my own team have recently gone on maternity / paternity leave (Chile, Brazil, Germany) and I am looking forward to having them back - I would expect them to be even higher perfomers than when they left as a result of learning from being new parents. Of course, like any company, we have to address under performance and if this cannot be recovered through feedback, performance improvement support or other mechanism then change is inevitable. Having said that, it is our responsibility as leadersto always try to develop high performance - but also help recover when people are under achieving. Given your comments, I will review this process in detail within Texas to make sure this is exemplary. If would be open to it, feel free to write to me confidentially to provide any specific feedback for us to learn from - john.mayes@softwareone.com I genuinely hope that you find a good environment that gets the best out of your abilities and wish you health and hapiness with your family. Best regards, John CHRO

Pros

Exceptional people wanting to contribute to the growth and success of the company long term. The company has grown year over year both in revenue and employees between 30% and 50% for the past 8+ years, really due to the loyalty of the employees.

Cons

Global leadership is inexperienced at running and transforming a small company to a large enterprise market player.. While SoftwareONE has 7 fundamental principles it strives for everyone to follow, the person breaking those very principles day after day is at the top of the organization. The CEO can't seem to let go of the day to day to focus on actually leading the organization while letting the regional and country leaders run the business as they know how. He is in everyone's business and constantly overrules on any decisions made, disregarding the local leadership to the point where its often embarrassing and undermining. This is usually all to make himself appear as he is on the side of the employees which is definitely not the case. It is a very politically run "boys club" of a group of top leaders but in the end the CEO makes every decision.

Pros

casual work environment in nice new office

Cons

very high school. Lots of gossip and pretty girls don't have to learn how to do their job. The three inside sales managers are terrible and do nothing except have meetings with each other and play favorites. Different rules for their friends. Bad pay, expect you to do all of the outside reps work while they make all the money. Preach family and open door but couldn't be further from the truth. Have also released people who were promoted and made too much money. Even had one of those employees train a new hire and once she trained new hire they let her go. Very unprofessional company. Company surveys are never paid attention to and problems never fixed. They talk a big game but don't believe the hype. Worst place I ever worked.
