Pros

Its very hard to say a pro thing about it.

Cons

The middle management in India is in a very bad state. specially In the IT dept. the best way to survive would be say yes to everything and agree to what ever they ask you to do.If you suggest them it will go against you. The skip level meetings are meant to be a grave that you are digging for your self.

I never like reading feedback like this as it possibly means our leadership are not upholding our values- this should never be the case. There are always 2 sides to every story and the truth is normally somewhere in the middle - I am sorry you did not have the best experience and hope you escalated this with the VP for our India Service Delivery Centre and / or our CIO. We have some great feedback from India but know we are not perfect - however we are investing heavily and aspiring to be world class there - L&D, Systems, offices, reward. If you would like to provide any specific feedback in confidence then please feel free to get in touch - (john.mayes@softwareone.com). Thanks again and I wish you all the best in your next role.

Pros

They were many, but they r all diminishing everyday

Cons

- poor leaders 1990 style of working. In 2018 their leaders plan to implement strategies that are accepted by rest comoanies as ineffective, and dropped years ago - micromanagement -u only get 75% variable pay now

Hi - thanks for your feeback. Would be great if you could be more specific on what has diminishedand how we can improve? I am not sure where you are based but you can email me directly in confidence or discuss with your local leader or HR partner. We have grown year on year in the last decade and 2017 was our most successful yet - the outlook for 2018 and our customer feedback is even better. Yes we are changing, and this is not easy - we make mistakes- some big, some small - and we try learn from them - and the way we run the business has to evolve as we grow. What we try to keep solid as a rock are our values - so if this is not the case then myselfor the CEO would love to hear about it asap. I actually disagree with you on variable pay - this is not the case - every employee in the company has a bonus structure where you can earn zero (if you under perform) to 110% and higher (if you over perform). we are also investing significantly into reward and recognition activities with additonal $ values so I am not sure why you would say this? Would be great to hear your feedback in our annual compensation survey too if you have time. Thank you again anyway and I hope we get the opportunity to address your concerns.

When i joined the company it used to provide a lot of perks and growth opportunity.

Cons

Poor Management, Poor Transportation department, Biasness and Partiality in most of the leadership team, Team Leaders tend to have no knowledge about the process, No Proper cafeteria, Too much of cost cutting happening in the softwareOne GSDC, I don't recommend this company to anyone

Dear Colleague - thank you for taking the time to write, it is aways disappoining to receive negative feedback but a good opportunity for us to learn. We are still a retaively young business and developing as we grow - and with any journey like this we will make mistakes - overall the company continues to go from strenght to strength but our transformation and change is not easy and I know that this manifests itself in different ways. We are investing heavily in people development in India - the MU development program delivered by Harvard Alumni, the Leadership Charter and Development porogram which goes live in July and the continued opportunities for career development and international experience - I cannot promise that these are the solution to all problems and that we will be perfect, but we are doing our very best to move the business forward. We still maintain a transport infrastructure for the GSDC and admittedly whilst we have reduced the scope of cafeteria services, this was also using direct feedbackl from the employees locally. In regards to your commentson the team leaders - it's disappointing to hear this - we are obviously a much karger business than when we started operations 5 years ago - this is not an excuse for leadership however is something we need to address and I will look into this with the team in India. If you would like to provide any further feedback (and in confidence) please email me at john.mayes@softwareone.com - thank you again.
