Excellent company to work for. Good salary and benefit. Work life balance mostly OK. Global exposure is a plus, people moves around within the company, lots of internal opportunities.

Cons

Suffered from 2008 financial crisis, business affected by industry cycles. Constant change in directions, lots of reorganization and frequent change in management in recent years.

The best experience is working with a bunch of innovative, growth-oriented and dedicated individuals, who do nothing but foster company spirit, in their pursuit to make Swiss Re no. 1

Cons

The company as a whole, does not recognize individuals for their achievements, nor do they reward those that go well above board, to keep the boat afloat. There is this aura of "let them leave, there are tons of others other there looking for work."

Pros

Nice place, easy commute with plenty of parking. Good salary and benefits.

Cons

Managers throw people under the bus. Would be nice environment except that back-stabbers seem to have the upper-hand. A merger/acquisition every couple of years and the new companies always seem to impart a negative impact on the culture. Long weeks.
