Pros

The role was remote with relatively flexible hours, which was initially a positive aspect.

Cons

Even after achieving a 150% increase in website traffic directly due to my work, I was abruptly laid off following a change in the marketing department’s management. They acknowledged my strong performance but stated they needed to cut the budget, which felt abrupt and lacked transparency or any attempt to find alternatives. The layoff was sudden and came with no prior feedback or preparation, communicated on a Monday morning without warning. The abrupt timing had serious personal fallout: I lost my mortgage approval and had to deal with major, immediate disruption.

No growth - Leadership is out for themselves

Pros

Global Flex Remote option for work Benefits

Cons

Leadership turnover is frequent, requiring continual reinvention of systems and processes leading to zero consistency. Lower level employees who speak out on certain issues or going against the grain often leads to being restructured out of the organization. Managers, driven by the need to constantly prove themselves, are reluctant to expand and empower their teams. They frequently undermine achievements of members of their team and are influenced by agendas that prioritize hiring new and inexperienced employees. They are not a family centered employer and do not care about employees personally.
