      Company Culture Went Downhill

      Some good people at the Morrisville office.

      Cons

      Before the switch to Syntax, old company was a great place to work. Great internal leadership, people genuinely wanted to achieve. All that changed when Syntax took over. I don't have enough words to describe how awful of a human being the America's CEO is. For company Oktoberfest, he refused to drink beer or wine like the "regular" employees. Drank his own personal whiskey instead. Awful guy who thinks it's okay to treat people like dirt.

      Pros

      Plenty of autocracy and very laid back management

      Cons

      Pay is much lower than the market rate and they give out minimal raises. They will fire you without warning despite what your manager is telling you. Very little opportunity for career growth. Avoid this company until there is a clean sweep of current leadership.

      Colleagues, remote, equipment, and when the day is over.

      Alot of fluff, especially in HR and the Director level. They keep the truth about the trenches away from senior management. The place is a propaganda hub. Positions aren’t posted, they promote with shoulder taps and favouritism. They vastly underpay women and near/offshore resources. Managers and the Director are bullies who will ridicule anyone who dares to question anything, Micromanaging your every move. Absolutely no teamwork, they do not stand up for or with staff when faced with missed deadlines due to lack of resources. This company is clueless when it comes to supporting and appreciating the people that support clients on a daily basis. They are only concerned with the next sale, not the resourcing to support the existing relationships. Three people from one department were on stress leave because of the same manager. HR refused to hold this person accountable.
