Pros
Not having to commute to work.
Cons
When you work for them and do something wrong they won't let you know anything but then bam! You get an email saying you need to work on this or else. No one pulls you for a one on one or even bothers to explain how you can improve. It almost feels like mangement deliberately tries to avoid talking to you at all cost . It feels like no one really cares about you unless you are one of the higher ups. The chat rooms that you go to for assistance during calls are almost always jammed pack. Since the chat rooms are so congested, you have to post your question several times before anyone even bothers to help you. However, if you are requesting a supervisor to take the call it may take a hour so get ready to get an earful from the customer you are on the phone with. The systems that they use are horrible and you will get blamed for a tech issue even if it is their fault(which is most of the time). They will change your schedule at the last minute and expect you to go with it even though you were told a separate thing during the hiring process. The pay is way too low for the headache, customers, and management that you have to deal with on a daily basis. I don't expect this type job to pay $20.00 an hour but how in the world can an adult make any dent in their living expenses with $8.50 and hour?! It you want a real work at home job this is not it, TRUST ME!
