Toxic Culture

Pros

PTO, base bay is great and bonuses used to be large until they significantly cut it for this year, gym onsite

Cons

Nearly everything - low morale, toxic work environment, poor upper management, tension, lack of collaboration, outdated management style, micromanagement, inflexible working structure, 60+ hour weeks, removed almost every single perk we had before the acquisition, understaffed and expected to put in double the work after the layoffs, everyday is just a fire fighting panic episode from management that you can't actually get any work done, and much more --> it has given me anxiety and extreme depression

Meh

Pros

There is an incredibly talented and skilled group of people that push you to learn quick in a broad set of skills

Cons

Upper management almost explicitly does not care about its employees. Work life balance is bad, always online. Central teams seem to actively want to sabotage the core business engineers.

Pros

Interesting work, decent pay, most people are chill

Cons

I swear upper management is making the worst possible decisions at every turn. They layoff large amounts of people with decades of experience and then turn around and say they will convert a building to exclusively produce products that require said experience.

Pros

None. Hard to find one

Cons

Poor management. Heavily beauracratic. Work is rushed. Always feels like artificial crisis.

Pros

If you're an NCG at least you might get a job

Cons

Management continues to find ways to make employees lives worse. They have been continuously laying off employees across different sites for the last couple years. Any small benefits you have on-site you can expect to be taken away. Recently they announced their slashing everyone's bonuses in half for the next year despite increasing YoY revenue and profits. A lot of the high level decisions seem extremely short-sighted and are given no explanation. The VPs and middle management are all completely two-faced and will blatantly lie to your face. There's no path to promotion unless you get on the technical ladder which in theory is supposed to circumvent management except that any level of management can veto your application for no reason at all.

Pros

The people I work with are great

Cons

It feels like we are all cogs in a machine. Management doesn't care about anything except for profit. We are all working ourselves out of a job since theyre end goal is a fully automated fab. Its depressing. There's also little to no opportunity for growth.

Pros

The company embraces innovation and gives a lot of interesting projects. The work is good. The people are as good as your team is (like any company).

Cons

As far as work-life balance and compensation, TI will cut you off at the knees and expect you to be grateful for it. Many of my coworkers feel dissolutioned. We work for the paycheck rather than work for the work. You can tell because from the 2023 to 2026 time frame, the number quality events have significantly increased. People don't care anymore because senior management doesn't care about people 🤷

Pros

Good pay and great place to learn first few years.

Cons

Management sucks the life out of everyone here in recent years. They only care about cutting cost and doing more. I was forced out through dishonest means. Dont join this company until they resolve the management issues.
