Pros

Good technical learning opportunities You can change your project if you wish Less variable pay Average hike per year

Cons

Work life balance depends on project. Huge politics by old employees and seniors. You will start feeling unstable after joining till last day. Eligible candidates are not considered for promotion. You have to learn a new skill after every 6 months / need to show case poc to seniors....if someone is having project workload, still submission of new skill poc is compulsory. Your manager will know that you are looking for a job change as they maintain a report of employee who are searching jobs on naukri.com

Pros

Pros for Bangalore office: 1.You will usually work at client location so you don't need to go to ust offices. They have clients like NetApp, Intel, Cisco, Merck, Walmart, Amadeus, Phillips (All good product companies). You will get to see from the inside how these companies function and the calibre of people over ther which can be inspiring at times and a good learning experience overall. 2. They have 2 months of notice period so they usually won't lay you off suddenly if the contract with client expires. They let you stay for 2 months on bench and after that your 2 month notice period may start based on individual case so that you have atleast 4 months to find new projects in the company or outside. Even if you are being made to serve notice period, hr will try to find opportunities for you and you can apply for internal position so they can revoke notice if you find something suitable. 3. They may pay more than an infosys or tcs if you are talented enough and negotiate properly. 4. If you don't work at prestige Shantiniketan office, you don't have to worry about maintaining 9 hrs or whatever everyday. So timing is usually flexible.

Cons

These are the cons I found while working in Bangalore location: 1. Their projects are usually for working as contract workers at client location. So you are at the mercy of the client in regards to all amenities like even a desk. There may be little to no contact with other ust employees based on client and you may not work with your ust manager at all... 2. There is no clear understanding of whom to approach for anything within the company if you end up working at client locations because you have very little visibility of what happens in your own company. You don't know who the HR is, whom to contact for payroll etc. 3. If you are on bench in Bangalore, your office is a seperate location (Prestige Feather lite) than the main office(Prestige Shantiniketan). Only people on bench are available here. So it agains fosters this feeling that you are not really a part of the company. 4. In the One and a half year I was there, their appraisal cycles kept moving around so it was very confusing as to when I would get my incentive. 5. Even if you are on bench you have to serve full notice period. You will get the salary for these 2 months as full and final settlement instead of how it's usually done where only the last month salary is in f&f settlement.

Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

They do not have any projects. They hire people onsite from US only to let them go later when they are able to get in H1 resources from India. They have a very bad rapport at client Equifax and once should definitely avoid this company. Manangement doesn't have any work at client site and is more of a family run business with favorism towards those from the state in India where the parent company resides.
