I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon in Nov 2015
Interview
Entire Process took several weeks. I applied online. The next day I got an email from a recruiter wanting to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview was scheduled for a few days later. During this time, I was supposed to review the handouts they sent me that included their Credo and product of the month. During the phone interview, they asked you basic STAR questions, asked you what stood out in the Credo, and had you sell the product of the month to them in a role-playing scenario (one scenario was with a high-tech customer while the other with a low-tech customer). The overall interview lasted about 35 minutes. The following week, I got a call from the manager of the store I applied to to set up a face-to-face interview. The manager seemed really busy and didn't want to be bothered with the interview, so it was actually a pretty short interview--no more than 10 minutes.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Verizon (Daly City, CA) in Feb 2011
Interview
The interview process was over the phone and took about 30 minutes. They asked standard questions about history, and also how I would react in certain high pressure or unhappy client confrontations. After the interview was complete, I waited for days without hearing back. I did not receive a phone call or an email for over 2 weeks. I was finally sent an email saying I did not get the position. I thought this was unprofessional.

Interview
1st interview was over 1 hour the phone, it was very detailed asking about my resume and different work scenarios. Not bad.
2nd interview was face to face with supervisor for a little bit over 30 mins about the same questions than they did over the phone.
The one on one interview was a joke, they asked you to go dress professionally and the supervisor wearing shorts and sneakers, and all sales representatives wearing jeans and sneakers. Supervisor never introduced properly. Always doubting my skills and my work experience, like they can't read diplomas nor call work references. The worst thing when I asked how long does it take for an answer, they said we will let you know, just like that, in those 3 weeks I waited for their answered I received 2 other jobs offering in less than 72 hrs (which of course I took one them). They need to get more serious with those interviews. Very poor interviewing process.
