The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Verizon in Jan 2012
Interview
I did not have to take a long assessment online, only input my basic information and answer a few questions. I was immediately contacted for a phone interview. Questions were basically related to past work experience and my understanding of the documents they had send me in the e-mail (read them thoroughly). It took about 30-40 minutes. They have scheduled me for a second phone interview, which I understand involves a lot more situational questions. We'll see how it goes.

Question 1
What are your short term and long term career goals?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Verizon in Jan 2012
Interview
The intial phone interview asked pretty basic questions and mainly was an overview of your resume and the job descriptions. The interviewer basically read from a script the whole time and asked a few questions that related to the job, while it sounded like his dog was barking in the background. Be sure to study the job desciption and the company credo as they ask you to explain the what the job entails and the part of the companies credo that stands out to you the most. Be sure to say something about team work and don't leave anything out

Question 1
What do you think of the company credo and what stands out the most?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon in Nov 2011
Interview
First, you will interview with a person from HR. Ensure to study beforehand, ask a lot of questions (good ones) at the end of the interview, and you will advance. Next, I moved on to the second phone interview with another HR rep. Slightly harder questions, still pretty routine, easy stuff. Next was the in-store interview with the store manager. This was where it got a little more difficult. The questions were definitely harder, some even kind of impossible to answer. Just do your best, and ensure you show your enthusiasm and ability to sell. Next, after the job offer, you have to complete a drug test and an extensive background/employment verification/education verification process.
